Meet Kate Anderson - Principle Chiropractor
Babies and Infants | Pregnancy and Motherhood | Paediatric Neurodevelopment |
Stress Regulation | OMT
Kate always knew she wanted to work in healthcare, but nothing quite clicked until she encountered the chiropractic philosophy. The idea that the body has an innate intelligence, that natural, inbuilt capacity to heal and regulate itself, and that our role is simply to remove the interference to that system. That concept resonated deeply, and it still drives everything she does.
Kate has completed extensive postgraduate training in paediatric neurodevelopment, polyvagal theory, pregnancy chiropractic, and orofacial myofunctional therapy (OMT) to support healthy airway development. She sees babies from birth and works closely with the rest of the team, so you'll find that infant and paediatric care is something the whole clinic does well.
As a mum of two, Kate knows firsthand how depleted and dysregulated mothers can feel, and how easy it is to put your own health at the bottom of the list. She's passionate about helping mums understand that an adjustment is one of the simplest, most effective forms of self-care there is. She loves seeing people, kids especially, live well and heal well. The nervous system care a child receives early in life can genuinely change the trajectory of their health for years to come.
Kate also runs online coaching courses in neurodevelopment for babies and stress regulation and vagal tone for families. If she recommends something to you, you can be confident she's tried it herself first.
Outside The Clinic
Reading, walking the dog, and spending time with her family, usually with a kitten on her lap.
